    Games with Ghost Ships anyone?

Long story short: Ghost ships are great, there are many games with them out there, but I probably don't know them all. So what I'm looking for are games that feature 'ghost ships' as a main setting. They may be obscure or not so much, great or trash and if you have played them, I'm of course...

Adventure from 1983-1993 - missing title

Found it! I tried several image searches by now and it really worked! That's a game title not made for search engines... 'The Detective Game'

Adventure from 1983-1993 - missing title

newtmonkey I didn't have access to DOS games at that time and the graphics don't fit either. Too colourful and not bubbleheady enough. It's still close to what I'm looking for though. Unkillable Cat No, not Cruise for a Corpse. I'm not willing to give up yet, but it really bothers me how I have...

Adventure from 1983-1993 - missing title

Thanks for the links! There were times when I knew Maniac Mansion and Zack McKracken by heart, it was definitely not one of them. Same for Willy Beamish, also the graphics are already way too fancy. I don't know Labyrinth so far. And I will have a look into those links, but.. I'm afraid that's...

Adventure from 1983-1993 - missing title

My best guess was to ask here, though I really don't have much clues to give. For whatever reason I suddenly remembered 'playing' an adventure when I was a kid, some 30 years ago. I would really like to remember the title, so perhaps I might be able to play it again. But yeah, my memory is...

Higurashi When They Cry - VN worth it after watching series?

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'll start with Umineko then.

Higurashi When They Cry - VN worth it after watching series?

So I watched the whole Higurashi series some time ago and loved it. Now VNs piqued my interest and of course I soon stumbled upon the Higurashi games. But now I wonder: Is it worth playing the games even now or would I just repeat the story without anything still surprising me?

    The Horror Adventure Thread

Barrow Hill actually has two parts, BH: Curse of the Ancient Circle and BH: The Dark Path. Also there are two versions of Downfall, the original being released in 2009, and Downfall: Redux from 2016. Please add Fran Bow, if you're still working on that list.
