Dark Souls 3 is a polished pearl with great pacing and a perfect ending for the trilogy.

Not to say that ER doesn't suffer from enemy reuse, but these examples are actually good reuses. The first Mohg encounter is like a time-convoluted battle with him when he was still locked in the Leindell Sewers, before attempting to create his own dynasty. Godfrey's first battle is the battle...

Will Capcom remake Resident Evil 5?

Would be great if they made something that blends fixed camera angles with free moving camera, instead of usual Resident Evil 2 Remake treatment, but I doubt they will. At this point they're unificating their old games into some cohesive stream of games, both gameplay and story-wise.

Recompilation: An Incredible New Way to Keep N64 Games Alive

In emulators they already got rid of affinte texturing artifacts and vertex warping, I feel like it would have been also fixed is something like that for PS1 was created. If I understand correctly, this N64 solution also requires some tinkering per game.

That one I have no problem with, as you have to upgrade your character for them to use spells and miracles. Buying healing gems is possible for every character and it doesn't require any complex actions, you just have spare souls that you spend on healing gems. Considering that in vanilla DS2...

    From Software Dark Souls 3

That's true for all 3 Dark Souls games. Dark Souls 2 is the only one where it's very easy to obtain multiple of 99 healing items that are always on you and easily available for use.

Dark Souls 3 throws even less non-estus healing items than even Dark Souls 1, as you can use ember only once, while you can heal using Humanity an infinite amount of times. But humanity it tough to farm and you can't buy them in unlimited qualities. Blessings are exceptionally rare and you can...

I did no such thing, the only thing I implied is that FS saw that both systems have place in Elden Ring. Everything else stems from your insecurities.

Recompilation: An Incredible New Way to Keep N64 Games Alive

Wonder if this was made for N64 because of the cartridge-based nature (and it somehow makes it easier). I'd like to see a couple of PlayStation games running natively ()

In Bloodborne they came up with a pretty good way to limit consumables, so you can't just drop 99 bombs at your enemies, but you can have 999 bombs at your disposal, you just have to use a checkpoint to get another 20. I'm glad they went with this system in DS3 and Elden Ring (though adding...
