  1. Any games with SuperHot turn-based play?

Basically, any action you make costs a certain number of action points. When you're done all enemies move or perform actions worth that many actions points. Then, it's your move again. Is there any game that uses this kind of system?
  2. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II Beta Thread [GAME RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Are you still able to rename multiclass names? Can I have, say, a Blade Singer rather than a War Caller?
  3. Shadowrun Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition

Well, it's two years after the HK Extended Edition went out, isn't it? The thing I remember most fondly after all that time is actually the ending. Everyone got back to living a normal life and that at least felt like an accomplishment.
  4. Overhaulout - Rewriting Fallout 3

The focus on water as a scarce resource is appealing. I can definitely see mashing these ideas with Fallout 1 and 2. Imagine, we've got the Vault Dweller who goes out to find the water chip and there are two competing factions in the wastelands. Megaton with it's ramshackle, but well established...
  5. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Aloth might be the leader of Leaden Key, but then again he might not be the leader.
  6. Fallout with 20/20 Hindsight

Suppose that back in day the developers of the original Fallout somehow gained all their experience and knowledge of modern game development. How would their games be different? The technological limitations are still there, but there's 20 years worth of comments and ideas to draw upon.
  7. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

Smoke is perfectly fine. Throwable bombs are OK, I guess, but for some reason I don't find them fitting.
  8. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

OK, can we exchange four of these sidekicks for one Rekke companion? I'm not sure what purpose would those sidekicks serve. Are they Adventurer's with unique voices and some dialogue? Why not make them proper servants, like butlers, bodyguards or ninja-maids?
  9. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

I've got one request regarding relationships: HIDE THE NUMBERS! There's nothing worse than seeing the +5 Hearts symbol after doing some action or other with such and such companion present.
  10. Eternity Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Pre-Release Thread [BETA RELEASED, GO TO NEW THREAD]

As for the multiclass names, no doubt some of them'll sound fine. Warden is OK. But all 52 combinations? The simplest solution woiuld be an additional option whether the player wants the name to be displayed as "Z" or the classic "X/Y". Would anyone be so kind as to suggest that during an...
  11. RPGs focused on negotiations?

Yes, I've played as Praetor, but in the end the game funneled me to the Temple just as it did with other classes. My services as Praetor weren't important in the end, because the choices in the ending overshadowed them. OK, I'll use some made-up examples. The game I want to play is called The...
  12. RPGs focused on negotiations?

I'll see it. I've tried it already, but in this case it's not the thing I'm looking for. AoD is too unfocused, while there are questlines dealing with negotiations they ultimately don't matter.
  13. RPGs focused on negotiations?

Are there such RPGs? I'm looking for something where the protagonist is some sort of an envoy, diplomat or negotiatior and his goals are meant to be achieved via non-leathal means.
  14. List your favorite companions

They do? Anyways, the companions I'm most fond of: Fallout 1, 2, NV: None. For one reason or the other I tend to play these games with solo characters. BG1: Khalid. We don't really get to know him, but I've always seen him as the Reluctant Hero. BG2: Mazzy, the honorary Paladin. I especially...
