  1. Fuding our own crpg: A serious discussion.

Interplay was a company already doing games. They had money, they had a development staff. You have nothing - no corporate structure, no money, no experience. Do you have the amount of money that the founders of Bioware had? No, I didn't think so. Your idea is insane. You think people...
  2. Piracy analysis with stats @ tweakguides

Care to show where he did since you seem to doubt him? How do you know he forgot? You can read his mind? Not showing data does not mean one forgot it. It may have not been significant, or his point may have been made with just the PC numbers. Life isn't always either/or.
  3. A good Fallout 3 review

This wasn't a "normal" guard. That should be pretty obvious from the video. "Normal" guards will go down with one or two head shots in VATS, if it takes that many. This was the equivalent of a boss for game play reasons and the player was a low level newbie from the look of his equipment .
  4. A good Fallout 3 review

Having played the game, I can tell you that your statement is patently false. Every animal I've come across - ants, dogs, mole rats - has gone done with a few shots outside of VATS. That said, the NPC's in the vid were a traveling trader and his guard. These NPCs are tough to prevent...
  5. Review The Life-Affirming Smell of Fallout 3

You really should use those words to describe yourself. Nope. Nope, not at all. In fact common sense (perhaps that is your problem?) tells us that nothing is perfect - every game has bugs for example. And since that is true, that tells us if someone is using a 10 point scale, they do...
  6. Interview Fallout 3 will be Straighter and More Plausible

He's said he doesn't review games in those circumstances.
  7. New Business: The Alpha Protocol Trailer

Uh, isn't that what most game trailers look like? Most don't show actual gameplay.
  8. Preview Fallout 3 Preview Bonanza

Bethesda has said you can find some good stuff early on, but you won't have a lot of ammo for them and they will be beat up and in poor condition so they are liable to jam/break on you until you can repair them.
  9. Preview Fallout 3 Preview Bonanza

There was a sniper rifle in Fallout 1 and 2. EDIT: Ok I see now that this was meant to be ironic :)
  10. Game News Fallout 3: Prepare For The Future

    There, fixed that for you.
  11. Game News Mass Effect Coming to an Extreme Theater Near You

No one like ths shitty ones, they just like the good ones.
  12. Maybe Fallout 3 will get slammed by reviews?

The game isn't out yet and you're already predicting low scores? Are you any different than those slobbering positively over the game, except you're slobbering negatively over it? No one has seen the full game so it seems as premature to say the game sucks as to say it's a classic.
  13. Cleve Blakemore in JA2?

I don't have inside knowledge but it was common knowledge in the JA2 crowd that this was an "homage" to Cleve. The name is too close and the character is a loon in the game, spouting off all sorts of nonsense if I remember correctly.
  14. Preview Fallout 3: the Doctor is Out

It is stupid, or do you see someone in sunglasses and think, "Oh,that's cool person!" :)
  15. Preview Fallout 3: the Doctor is Out

You're right, wandering uninvited into a doc's underground lab with a gun in a lawless PA world is certainly no reason for him to shoot . . . And of course you're totally ignoring that the good doctor may have his own reasons for wanting to kill an intruder, friendly or not. Sad how the...
