What games did you complete in 2023?

Eh, chopping wood, gardening, and making homemade board games/homebrewing D&D and ignoring the computer and phone for six months got me out of a funk I was in for 2 years, and once I got out of that funk I went and got a new job which I enjoy a lot more and now have some spare change to pick up...

What games did you complete in 2023?

I didn't beat many games as I took a six month break from gaming. -------------------------------- Rule the Waves 3 -- Great little Naval wargame that allows you to play as the head of a navy (various nations can be selected) from 1890 to 1970, going from the late ironclad era to the missile...

What's that game? Don't remember the title? Ask here.

Sorry, it not that. Also don't worry as the game wasn't special, and since I might be replaying Myst/Riven for the first time in 20 years it not like I will have time to play other games anytime soon.

Rumor: Bethesda has been in turmoil since the death of their CEO

Well I guess you don't recall what this was about. Altman was a lawyer with his own firm, he represented companies before federal regulators as his bread and butter. A group of Arab investors bought what became First American Bankshares, and Altman represented those Arabs. They made him the...

    Riven ( Myst 2 )

I admit that I love games with a lot of Hidden lore, and I think I enjoy the lore and concepts of Myst and Riven then the actual gameplay. It also always amazed me (in a good way) that these games sold so many millions of copies. I mean, Myst was made by 2 brothers in a basement and sold six...

Rumor: Bethesda has been in turmoil since the death of their CEO

Citations eh? Here you go. The NYT link goes over it well. From the Tampa Bay Times A jury acquitted Washington lawyer Robert Altman on Saturday of all charges in the BCCI bank-fraud trial, capping the highly publicized, marathon case. Jurors, who began deliberations Wednesday, found...

Rumor: Bethesda has been in turmoil since the death of their CEO

IIRC, the criminal case fell apart, with the Judge throwing out the main charge, the Jury not convicting him even if he did not mount a defense in the court, and the DOJ forced to drop all the charges. He agreed not to be a banker to get rid of a civil lawsuit the government charged. When a...

What's that game? Don't remember the title? Ask here.

Okay, Here one I been trying to find again. -- It was science fiction Game from the early 1990s, MS-DOS game. -- More of a adventure game -- the game allowed you in the early part of the game rip off a arm of a bad guy then beat him to death with it (This is why I recall it, as it was...

    Playstation 3 recommendations

IIRC, GTA V was one of the last PS3 games and used every trick learned to work on the hardware. I have it on the PC so no real need to use a PS3.
