  1. Jagged Alliance 3: Cautious Good News?

I agree, but I never say it would be a good rpg, just a possile and in my opinion very standard one.
  2. Jagged Alliance 3: Cautious Good News?

Well, as far as I recall Space Hulk was not an rpg and WH40k background is not similar to Metroid's. Said this I agree in concept they would not be too much dissimilar, but I don't claim a Metroid pen and paper roleplaying game should have Samus as a character, just a lot of Samus looking ones...
  3. Jagged Alliance 3: Cautious Good News?

    >> Already been done, it's called "MechWarrior", it was an officially released add on to BattleTech and there's three revisions of it's rule system. Yes, exactly what I said, I used a different pnp rpg as example >> But if it were in the Metroid setting, Metroid is unique.. Samus is...
  4. Jagged Alliance 3: Cautious Good News?

I don't want to sound too much an idiot here, but all the games would make good pnp-rpgs. Well maybe not good dnd 3ed rpgs but... 1) Mech Assault: already covered by Heavy Gear and a gajillion other games 2) Metroid Prime: Super spies/ SpecOps in space: it sounds regular, maybe a little bit...
  5. Greetings from the Lead Writer

As opposed to min/maxing your character armors/weapons/speed/damage ratios, which incredibly hepls immersiveness?
  6. Greetings from the Lead Writer

Ohhh. That's just awesome. I am stunned. Now everything does fit right in. Well that settles the riddle quest for me. It is just exceptional. And speaking of the ncklace quest I think there should have been a "fight your way to freedom" option (I really don't think any speaker could convince...
  7. Anyone beat it?

Spoilers I've got the blueprints for the Flame artifact dagger, and now I am trying to enter Jerrock; but exams got in the way of finishing the game
  8. Armor: Do you use it? If so, how much?

As I said it is just a matter of preference: I think everyone of us had his party get to the Monastery Library and clear it, chop down Martha, kill Ironwood ran away girl... Just a matter of preference, nothing to go all theological on. :D Edit:spelling
  9. Sewers

Try recuiting Diviana: she is strong enough to open the grate. (Beside I think 16 Str is required) If everything else fails use the grate by the River people cemetery.
  10. Armor: Do you use it? If so, how much?

I love armors. Most of my front line fighters are as heavilly armored as possible (Guardian Vest is a must as soon as I can buy it) my thaumaturgist-axe thrower and generalist-archer tend to be less armored, but it is more an "eye candy" than a deeply thought before decision. Of course there...
  11. Thaumaturgy question

Starnde, I am pretty sure lighting spell lasted for more than one combat. But I also noticed it doesn't dispaly the thunder animation on Thrown weapon special attack (what was its name?).
  12. Problem finding river dragon eggs.

They're in the northern side of the cave, but the blend exceptionally well with the ground, so use the alt key to highlight them.
  13. Stuck at the Monastary.

There is a student in the monastery who asks for money: give her a few and (I think) she will "unlock" a dialogue with another female student who, for one hundred drachs will steal from the Curator an ancient vase. Or you could go to Crossing East and try if the antique vases there count as...
  14. balance and pace

I have seen thatThaumaturgy bar refills as time passes, but flame bar refilling could be a glitch... better ask one of the devs.
