You are right sorry. Actually first Triss part is at start of Blood of Elves.

As of Sword of Destiny. Imo calling it collection of short stories is imo fallacy. It has that structure and it is not focused as later books but SoD is critical to later books and all those short stories are connected

Triss was the first sorceress to take care of Ciri. That was when Geralt and Yennefer were butthurt at each other. She slept with Geralt few times and considered Ciri her little sister. That said she wasn't OMG Geralt tru love.

Anyway that video was horrible. Shit amateur VA, shit script, shit effects, no tits.

It's called reading comprehension. You lack it.

Sorceresses in books compared to common women in tw lore are like pornstars to us. Yennefer wasn't the best looking sorceresses of them all (that was elven sorceresses which even among sorceresses was hot as fuck [all natural btw]) but she was exceptionally beautiful for almost all men. Also she didn't hide defects. Most of sorceresses after they joined academy (after few years) are magically healed, their bones are straighten and so on. Few of them had illusion going on (due to for example not having jaw) but overall after their magical healing in academy they were the best hot asses around it that lore. It wasn't about being hot btw. It was all about status of sorceresses and they used it to their advantage often.

Geralt in books only suggested by her walking habbits that she was hunchback but for non-witcher eye everything was ok.

Imo it is superinteresting part of lore since both of genders did it in ridiculously different way. Women used their looks to deal with men orientated world. Males used to make them self look like scholars with beards and stuff so people would treat them naturally as superior in knowledge.

This was disturbing to read.

Sapkowski lore is imo amazing. He did basically thought experiment like Farmer with his Riverworld series. Get fantasy tropes and mash them with real human nature. You have magical power ? Then probably you would spend years researching perfect orgasm spell like those Skyrim modders. Where only handful of people would actually do something "good" with it.

edit:

Well i just noticed that sorceress lore actually is created from our real life.

Remember those news about husband sueing wife because their children were ugly but wife looked like top model ?

With regenerating quests, so that the play can explore the world's amazing copypasta dungeons, caves and ancient crypts to collect even more tomatos, cabbages, spoons and other worthless stuff over and over again.

Yeah I only read Last Wish, and Blood of Elves. Sword Of Destiny has no proper English translation. The fan translations are nice, but I couldn't deal with the weird typos.

Time of Contempt (Disdain) and Baptism of Fire both have a proper English translation now.

Also, my memory is that all sorceresses are beautiful except for the ones in Nilfgaard who are treated like garbage. I also recall something about Yennefer being born a hunchback but being 'fixed' through magic. My memory of last wish is hazy, so that last part may not be up to par... but I read the 3rd and 4th book only a month ago and nearly all sorceresses are described as beautiful.

No internal barriers. Every part of the world can be accessed without loading screens. I don't get why it's so important for some people.

EDIT: also it's possible to have infinite world in a game - you just need to generate it proceduraly as you go, using the player position as seed.

I think you wanted to post in the Skyrimjob thread.
PC Gamer says that Skyrim is one of the best games ever made, it would be awesome if TW3 also had this amazing feature with regenerating quests.

Although CDPR would probably replace the tomatoes with potatoes to give the game some truly authentic Polish flare.
