We are now deep in the bowels of City 17

And immediately find a large hammer

And another devious puzzle

Which involves:

Turning to the left

Smashing a lock

Turning a bit further to pick up this item

Which we insert in the fuse box in order to disable the electricity (this game makes me feel so smart)

We pick up a crate and with it we are able

to reach

slightly higher ground

Only to find a locked door...

Luckily there is a ventilation shaft nearby

We find some lockers, those are always potential containers of exciting things

And we do indeed discover another tasteful collectible

and a key

and a door…

Thanks to the amazing immersion this game provides I can almost smell the sewage, of course we soon encounter a huge rat

As luck would have it there is a steam release valve to turn

Without further hesitation Jack dives into the filth

And finds a ladder out of yet another erm involving level.

We open the manhole and find out we are in another decrepit place

We are so immersed in the thick atmosphere that we can’t see any obvious way out

Ah but there is another ladder hidden in the shadow

We enter this filthy apartment

It’s only marginally worse than what Jack is used to

The previous owner was clearly a wizard who had to leave in a hurry and forgot one of his wands in this odd storage device

We leave through another window and attempt to follow this daring path but are momentarily stopped by a blocked off ventilation shaft

Which is no match for our mighty Wand of Suction

We fall down into yet another locked room

Where we find a canister

And a gun

Just kidding it’s just a novelty lighter, (so far) this game is too classy and advanced for trivial things like firearms and hand models.

We take the rag and combine it with the fuel canister

Light it, take a few steps back and an absolutely massive explosion obliterates the door and rocks the building

After the smoke clears we enter a moonlit grimdark back alley

Where we grab a piece of wood and approach another one of those weird looking cultists

He asks for a cigarette

And turns hostile when he learns Jack is a non-smoker

With the help of our superior lungs we make short work of this clown and his identical friend

We use this thing to lower the ladder and start climbing again

We sense that we have to go through the window next to the neon light

We push the rain pipe and return to terra firma

Where we use the newly created path

and follow the ledge until we reach

the window next to the zooming neon light

We enter a hallway and in the distance we see a semi-nude Mila in bondage guarded by another dark cultist.

I wonder if you found all cards. There is always one that escaped me.

No I haven't, perhaps they just forgot to include that 6th card... I'm replaying the game as I write the LP so maybe I still manage to find it this time around.

This mod is quite ambitious, it has everything: Rape, promises of fates worse than death, puzzles, inanity and even melee combat.

A tasteful cutscene makes it abundantly clear Mila needs our help...

But we’re going to need something to fight the guardian, fortunately the receptionist is a forgetful baseball player

so we borrow his equipment and sneak towards the damsel in distress and her despicable captor

Jack states the obvious

We’re going after them

But not before freeing Mila

and receiving another stat boost

We leave Mila in the locked room

After this emotionally engaging moment we encounter the receptionist in the hallway

After we try to interrogate him

we escape the building through this window

A short cutscene plays

The developers knew gamers just love it when their weapons get taken away

So we have to figure out another way to eliminate these cultists

Pushing the fridge down proves effective

The other cultist is totally unaware of what is happening right in front of him

We pick up the pipe and destroy the other moron

Take away this brick

I have to remove the body because we all know cars are incapable of running over humans

a new path reveals itself

We push the car a bit further so we can traverse this treacherous cavern

The mailman left someone a shiny card

nasty

Jack steps into the elevator

but it appears to be defect

This will not stop Jack, he immediately opens the emergency hatch, climbs the ladder

fires up several neurons to figure out yet another daunting puzzle

Now we can ride the elevator and arrive right under the roof

where we encounter the shadow of a sleeping guard

At this point it became clear that the advanced technology used in this game was too much for my computer. So I went to the store and bought another 12 gigabytes of RAM and another 680 card in the hope I would now be able to finish this masterpiece.
