Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
I still have fond memories of the St. Louis mission. There will be blood indeed.

But I'm curious: Will you attempt to storm the fort on the hill? If you do, you may score some sweet weaponry and ammo, but the chances of your squad being annihilated will go up by at least 200%, propably more.

And right afterwards is Kansas City. If you don't have a suitable Big Guns squaddie by then, you're dead.

Exploiting the rule that every time Bro dies the game will be reloaded would not make a cool update.

There's an obvious answer to that question:

It's not my fault that two BG specialists decided to die early...

You forgot Poland that somebody has to stay behind and coordinate the attack from the APC...

:smug:

But don't you worry guyse, only volunteers will participate in the Battle of Fort St. Louis... :salute:

You can count on Neinmaske to fight against Mutants, Zionism, Niggers, Zionism, Xenos and Zionism, even when the enemies of the ubermensch are in a position to greatly overwhelm them.

Just grant Neinmaske a .50 cal if he survives.

Charlotte goes wherever the kills await. They are all just a scratch more in her shotgun.

Good luck with that stupid bug that causes free death for all with burst attacks miles away. This mission is where it starts kicking in badly.

On the way to St. Louis something strange happens:

s3d5lj.jpg

OMFG! A special encounter at last!

:incline:

Too bad that's quite a shitty one. The doors to the bunker are locked and cannot be picked:

6fxq42.jpg

2qsnybp.jpg

And the corpses don't have anything interesting

2quhts6.jpg

Still an incline!

oj1r7q.jpg

Plus, we're definitely going back there when we find some powerful drugs...

:smug:

Let's start the next mission:

Mission 09 - St. Louis

We get a cutscene right at the beginning:

:salute:

:salute:

The team starts in the SW corner:

5n26ip.jpg

There are some books on the nearby table

2rppm3l.jpg

We should keep them for the ones that survive this mission I think :(
Let's start with our 1st objective:

16114sp.jpg

16j3nti.jpg

Three muties visible to the east

34ta1rp.jpg

We try to move closer, but root's bloodlust (and high PER + Sharpshooter) gets in our way

2jajnrl.jpg

Charlotte takes out her 1st supermutant

11uajys.jpg

Too bad that shooting from the inside of the vehicle affects our skills negatively...
Another mutie shows up to the south

2py3yq9.jpg

Neinmaske takes the 2nd one out

4izxfk.jpg

Wolf drives the APC closer, Charlotte scores another two kills

16a2q9t.jpg

349cj7p.jpg

Battle ends. Neinmaske leaves the APC and picks up his first Big Gun:

zvpz83.jpg

Too bad that he's the only one that can use Big Guns ATM...
root repairs our vehicle

10i74ae.jpg

More enemies can be seen to the west:

jinw42.jpg

And to the north:

fksdww.jpg

We go NE, finding a bunker on the way. Monkey goes to investigate, sets off a booby trap (I was thinking about sending Charlotte to check it out but was too lazy to do so):

wwi6om.jpg

:(

Still, it was totally worth it:

2epsz69.jpg

Bro equips the Sniper Rifle:

r794bo.jpg

We continue south.
root KOs another supermutant. Wolf tries to drive APC closer to him.
We find another mutie and the Fang Squad:

28tywit.jpg

:salute:

Monkey kills an unconscious mutant. First objective completed:

ok4ns2.jpg

Another enemy shows up, armed with Rocket Launcher!

2s6sdav.jpg

Neinmaske tests his new gun:

2njlt35.jpg

Charlotte kills both muties

6gasjm.jpg

root repairs the APC. Neinmaske loots the neighborhood, finding some rockets at last:

sv3w9g.jpg

We continue north. Suddenly, another mutie rapes the APC hard!

qyh9j8.jpg

We try to move closer to him, but another one shows up. He's armed with grenades. It doesn't look good... :(
Despite only 51% accuracy, Neinmaske delivers two times, killing the RPG specialist

2ln8eiv.jpg

Grenadier tries to play hide and seek with us: he throws a grenade and hides behind the wall.

10374om.jpg

Fuck this shit, let's retreat!
root fixes the APC

o9fjes.jpg

Charlotte punishes the mutant

2vkmhhc.jpg

Two enemies left in this area. Charlotte kills the one to the west:

x4uw4.jpg

Wolf does some mine clearing using an APC

117y0yg.jpg

She KOs the mutant hidden in the eastern building, root takes him out and repairs the APC once more.
Neinmaske does the looting

2cy2r7p.jpg

It's time to continue north:

2hgh1l3.jpg

Nobody died yet?

:decline:

But don't you worry, this thread will witness some

:incline:

p. soon, I think...

:(

Monkey, Neinmaske and Charlotte had been volunteered to participate in the upcoming suicide mission.

2guw9yt.jpg

I think loosing 1/2 of the team will be entertaining enough, so more volunteers aren't necessary (I'll post the reason for that in the next update).

I suppose if you give me the sniper rifle, with my high PE and Luck I can try and score some mutie eye-hits on the fort.
Already done - root was obvious choice for second sniper. He (and Bro) will kick some serious ass in next update.

And if I die, you can always bring me back as an undead robot.
Consider it done. Should I leave ITZ stats intact?

I volunteer too. onwards!

Before anything they have to be killed and subdued. So the rest of them can be killed.

Pshaw... As if we'd taint the purity of the most glorious codex with muties.

Heavy usage of psycho and AP-boosting drugs is mandatory to make any offensive over the hill have a minimal chance of not ending in total defeat.

Having a good trap spotter and disarmer among the suicidal team is too, for otherwise then it's 0% chance of survival instead of 1%.

Having a good trapper or not is somewhat irrelevant. The mines up there are imposible to spot and to recover. The only way is to use burst weapons and pray you didn't miss a mine. That's, of course, if the team even get that close.

*Points to the ghouls*

The ghouls are just poor humans who have been too long exposed to the popamole decline, it is our duty as bros to take them into the fold and try to give them the best life we can amongst elite bros.

SuperMutants are rabid consoletards who have been forcibly mutated by exposure to the TCS (Tactical Cover System) virus by means of Gears of War and have (d)evolved into insane, slavering hordes who desire only XBAWX Live achievements.

Deathclaws are just furries.

Therefore: It is the duty of the Codex BROtherhood to protect the ghoul but to purge the furries and consoletarded mutants.

Robots are of course our natural allies once we reprogramme them to use turn-based algorithims.

Is the suicide team having their last meals or are they just idly crapping themselves waiting for this next update. :smug:
