Prime Junta is Ashe, Bubbles is Nerat. It's all clear now. "Codex" sounding awfully alike "Kyros" doesn't it? Spires is like Pillars, and Pillars of Eternity is what drive Kyros Codex these days. Obsidians playing us, and we play Obsidians. What a game it is.

2. We're all volunteers here. And as I age towards Grand Wizard, and take on more responsibility in my career that pays real money for making a real difference in the real world, I want more and more for this place to be a nice place I can chillax and shit post in, not a place with an added expected work burden.
Excellent epiphany you had there #5
:excellent:

So if my understanding is correct, was PJ chosen to do the review due to his familiarity with PoE or something?

He was a reasonable choice for any number of reasons (PoE experience, reviewing experience, other experienced reviewers being busy with other things).

But my point is that both he and Roxor were "hand-picked" to do their reviews. The "Who's doing it?" was a formality (ie, in case Roxor was unable to do the review, other people would feel welcome to volunteer in the thread). In PJ's case, he doesn't currently have access to that forum, so there was no point in making a thread. If he'd refused to do the review, maybe I would have made a thread for it then, but he accepted, so there was no need.

Ouch. Fucking politics.

For the record, I won't be accepting any free keys from the Codex in the future. Being a champagne socialist, I can easily afford all the games I want to play, and since I want to play the damn things before writing about them, getting a press preview won't make any difference anyway.

However, it is likely that I will continue to write about games that interest me for one reason or another, and it is also likely I will continue to submit content to the Codex if I think it would fit.

Well, that's at least twice now Bubbles has told selective truths to make his argument look stronger. What a bitch.

On a more serious note, it's kinda sad.. how often we need arbiters. An AoD mention the cause of all this drama. Least DU has a sense of humor. An.. edgy type of humor, best directed to someone other than you, lol, but even so :)
Try and imagine Infinitron taking DU's spot (heaven forbid); or CB.

(and yes, i'm including myself on the arbiters part. I too have bitched)
