ShackNews has made their reader review page for Temple of Elemental Evil. The first reader review for the title has also been posted, giving it an Exceptional rating. Here's a clip of that, since there's not that many other reviews of the title out there:

he storylines aren't anything to write home about and is probably the game's biggest weakness if that's what you look for in an RPG. Like the original module the game is based on, this is a dungeon crawl at it's best and it doesn't pretend to be anything else. There are two towns of moderate size, several sidequests in each of them but they only make up about 20% of the game. Most quests are FedEx/messenger style ones with a lot of them being linked together as a chain of events. These "chains" can involve 3 or 4 quests. There are some diamonds in the rough, like choosing to marry an NPC or having a character that can lie and persuade people. One thing that was disheartening was the fact that Wizards of the Coast, the licence holders for the D&D games, made Troika remove children from the game to get a "T" rating. Never Winter Nights got around this by making the children un-killable but it looks like the developers didn't have the time to implement it. At any rate, the decision was made at the 11th hour so you'll see a variety of NPCs and even dialogue options making mention of children that aren't there and even some quests that aren't accessible because of this.

Actually, it was Hasbro, who owns Wizards of the Coast, that did that remove the children for TEEN RATING demand.

Yeah, definitely a slow day when I post things like that. If it's a slow day for you guys as well, you could always write your own review of Temple of Elemental Evil there as well.
