Have you ever played an AD&D type of RPG game and wished for a touch less story, and more action? Have you ever played any of the Diablo breed of game and dreamed of it feeling less like a random-drop treasure hunt, click-fest? If so, you should probably rush right out and grab Divine Divinity, because this is where Divine Divinity excels.
No, I can honestly say I've never wished for that.
