According to the daily BioWare forum coverage at <a href=http://www.sorcerers.net>Sorcerer's Place</a>, <b>Georg Zoeller</b>, BW designer guy, claims BioWare is not working with Atari on Baldur's Gate 3.

So if anyone still thought it was, it isn't. And I doubt there's any kind of J.E. Sawyer-esque "the game is not in production but secretly in <i>pre-</i>production", so that's that.
