It's finally (well past) that time of year again, where we look back on the year just gone and ask: What was 2009 all about?

... is something else that didn't happen in 2009. Originally scheduled for an October release, Alpha Protocol has been delayed until 2010. It turns out that while most of us were wondering "just how do you make an RPG set in a James Bones style world of espionage and intrigue", Sony - the company funding the project (or are they, I don't bother keeping track of these things anymore) - were asking themselves the same question. After seeing an early build they commented in some leaked minutes

2009. It was good for what it was.

Indeed. Considering I liked both Risen and DAO better than anything since...uhm...ToEE(?)...I guess... 2009 was my personal best RPG-year in ages.

But you're wrong about FO:V and AP being the biggest contenders for goty 2010. Don't forget MEh2.

H&H avatars needed ;)

GAH
I hope that I don't relapse when the new world (complete with oceans!?) comes out.
Well, knowing that all the grinding would eventually be fruitless due to the inevitable new world crumbled my resolve.
