As I recall, it went from "there will be a Linux version", to "there are plans for a Linux version", to "a Linux version can be done". I wouldn't hold my breath. Hopefully it kinda works with WINE, if the darn game ever comes out that is.

You recall wrong. The Linux/Mac versions were never promised and our position didn't change: we will try to port the game to Linux/Mac since Torque is supposed to be Linux/Mac friendly, but we won't waste a lot of time on it. If it works, great. If it doesn't, too bad.

Fall and Winter are the best times for games. During summer the days are too hot for you to be cooked up inside the house; one would be most likely to go out and enjoy the day.
