Don't these people have access to mirrors? The long-haired guys in particular are perfectly hideous.

Like a proper Troika Fanboi, I had an Arcanum T-shirt with all the team's autographs on it. (I beta-tested and wrote two of the books you can read in Tulla. As a thank you, I got some phat lewt..)

Unlike a proper Fanboi though, I actually wore the T-shirt at every given opportunity, until it started coming apart at the seams. Then my ex-girlfriend threw it out. She followed shortly thereafter.

Didn't really care how the people looked back then. Not sure I would today, but yes, Shellman's not what I'd call a "looker"..

Huh? I think they all look pretty much normal, and some, like Leonard and Tim and Jason and the female, are even good looking.

They actually look pretty good except for the fat chick with the weird lips and the guy with the huge teeth.

Still, even those two look a lot better than THIS.

Am I seriously reading a thread where people are SURPRISED that a lot of game developers look sorta like nerds?

What the fuck, folks? I mean, there are many diverse people in the industry with many different interests but WAIT A MINUTE WE ARE WORKING IN GAMES, YES THERE WILL BE NERDS.

And if you run into someone who is on week 4 of an 8 week crunch they are not going to give two shits in a hat about how they look. What you have to worry about is when they stop caring about how they smell. That's when it gets actually scary.

If you want fun pictures, crawl back in the IGN archives to the Obsidian developer profile, and you'll see people passed out on the couch after the epic Christmas party. Nobody in the world is more fun than game developers drunk. :twisted:

You'd hope gamers in general have a philosophical streak into them, which is why they don't give much thought to their appearance. But no, they're just ugly and can't help it

See the bald guy with glasses on the left on the first pic? Anyone noticed that guy? This guy is a pedophile. I don't care what he did in the gaming industry, this guy enjoys children and it shows
