Bioware vs. Bethesda: Which is worse and why?

Bethesduh RAPED FALLOUT, Bioware only fucks their own franchises up. Plus, BG2 is a really good game.
Oh, and NWN too. Even though the official campaigns kinda sucked and the combat was dull, as a project, it was a real success. People keep making NWN modules today and Bioware released the last game patch several years after release, and kept releasing free content before that.

BioWare releases good games. The only problem with them is that they call action games a RPGs which is just stupid. I love Jade Empire but it's horrible cRPG, why they just couldn't name it "fighting game with cRPG elements"? I just don't get it.
NWN was fun too, especially mods and multiplayer (campaign sucked unfortunately).
And some old Bioware's games are good - like Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale.
Their only fault was that they name action game a "cRPG" and it's fucking irritating because I don't know what to expect from their new game. Is it fighting game? FPS? hack'n slash? How the hell could I know when they name everything as fucking RPG?
As for Bethesda... they stole my fucking $65 I payed for Oblivion Collector's Edition, so I hate them

I like both, Bethesda brought us Daggerfall and Morrowind and Bioware - well, I don't know about you guys, but I had fun with Jade Empire and Neverwinter Nights, and a lot of fun with Baldur's Gate 1 & 2.
I'll have to say they're both fairly decent, if perpetrators of the evil decline. The good things they did are resting in the past for me. (Didn't try Mass Effect yet)

I'm finding the thought that there are actually people, who think Bethesda is better than Bioware, a tad odd. I'm not a fan of Bioware, in fact I don't even like their older stuff that much, no point commenting on their new line of action railway simulators.
Never the less, its Beth that has now released 3 horrible, immature, story-less, retarded, copy-paste things which they're constantly trying to pass as RPGs. When Morrowind was released and I was caught in the Oblivion hype, I was ignorant and young enough to think that Beth would try to Improve the story-telling and add a branching story. Oh boy, was I dumb then. Half way through I caught the smell of bull shit and got sick to my stomach, but even though I figured out that Oblivion was going to be a big turd before making a mistake, I'll never forgive Bethesda for wasting so much of my time, which instead I could have used to drool at Troika.
Neither Bioware nor Bethesda stand out as good RPG studios, but Bethesda is by far the worse of the two. Bioware at least makes their games seem remotely like RPGs, Beth just... um... well... makes engine demos? I have no fucking Idea what those things are supposed to be. I guess you could model shit and see how it would look in a FPS? I have don't know how anyone could think of them as RPGs though. They lack some of the most basic things a RPG needs, like a story, dialog and character advancement. Even if Mass Effect had a story and dialog with fake C&C, poor writing and complete lack of creativity, it at least had 'em.
Doesn't matter thou'. I have said it before and I'll say it again, as it is, Japanese porn has better RPG elemtents than the current AAA RPGs. Damn, I wish someone would make a RPG with a good story. MoTB was nice, but I miss the philosophical banter of Arcanum, the creativity of PS:T and... Someone should cut this cheap Hollywood Action film shit out they force into RPGs!! Blech...

I have been looking forward to seeing just what they are capable of if they strike out on their own. Unfortunately, they haven't really. They sprinkle a few decent elements in games where the inherited engine does not allow these elements to really work to their potential at all.
So, in that vein, Obsidian is still, at present, an expansion pack for Bioware.

On-topic: I've never been able to finish a single Bethesda game. Not MW, not Obliblah, not FO3. I have, however, been able to finish a few Bioware games, so... that's something.

Bioware has been making the same shit since Baldur's Gate, and since then this shit somehow transformed to masterpiece RPGs. Don't know how but I blame retarded players.
bethesda has been making the same shit since Arena and their shit too is considered good for some unknown reason.

Bethesda's games, no matter how shallow and horrible they are, at least give you a short moment of awe when you leave the dungeon/vault and look at the landscape and the freeform exploration combined with a LOT of mods can be fun for some time.
Bioware games, at least the recent ones, force dozens of cutscenes on you, have shitty combat and exactly the same story as every other Bioware game. Bioware is worse. Mass Effect was an interactive movie.
