Propably latter, obsidian is under bethsoft boot after all, and the last thing todd and hines wants is to make game which is too hard or too ambitious.
Judging from the Alpha Protocol hype, Obsidian is also of the opinion that player choice shouldn't be punished in mainstream RPGs. If you are playing a big-budget multiplatform RPG, you don't need to worry about saving before a conversation. That seems to be the majority opinion.

Don't worry, guys, it will be good for what it will be.
 How did this become a universal pejorative on this board? Do we really need to point out that a given game isn't all things to all men?

I agree. I forgot about AP. Odsidian is not much better than beth...
Maybe, just maybe NV will be slightly better than F3, but...
Slightly better than F3 = still fucking banal shit boring. Time will tell.
And we must don't forgot how ridiculous oblivion hype was, most of today informations can be bullshit as well.

You know, Obsidian throws in that they hired a modder who "balanced" Oblivion, right? Isn't that similar to what Bethesda said in regard to the guy who programmed the "Dark Brotherhood" quests in Oblivion was going to program ALL of the quests in FO3. It's slowly becoming the same PR bullshit over and over.

Things wouldn't be this bad if developers could do one simple thing - Get Some Fucking Talent for a change. Stop recruiting from colleges, recruit from D&D sessions, or even from the Codex, or something!
