Aye to the consolefag part. I don't know why he deliberately tries to play multiplatform games on consoles, when he obviously has a PC and likes old RPGs like Planescape Torment. He must be autistic or something.

Maybe he is like me. I prefer playing games like Morrowind with a controller. I dont know if it has controller support on the PC because I also prefer playing games like Morrowind on the PC.

I'd say Yahtzee is more of an entertainer than a reviewer - his whole thing from the start has been to talk shit on games and be funny.

The problem is that his schtick of talking really fast with some verbal insults thrown in is getting old and boring thus you'll notice the stupid reasoning in those videos.

Maybe it's a schtick, but I also see it as a pretty effective way for him as a reviewer to get past all the rubbery schmaltz mainstream reviewers throw on games.

Most of his 'shit' has more truth in a 6 minute video than the rest of the Escapist has in a whole year of its 'professional reviews'. I don't always agree with all his 'shit', but 90% is close enough. And the 10% I don't agree with, I can see as fair points to some people. Considering that I disagree with about 90% of the cock sucking, payola-fueled praise in the mainstream reviews, there's no discussion really.

Leslie Nielsen's movies stopped being funny after I watched them a third time, but I still recommend them to friends.You suggest we stop doing anything as soon as the novelty wears off?

He doesn't even finish some of the games he reviews. Its like that guy who criticized Deus Ex, he may have said negative things about mainstream games but that still didn't mean he was a retard. Yahtzee at least makes it obvious that he's not trying to be objective, unlike for example most biodrone reviewers who honestly want to sell us DA2 as a masterpiece of storytelling. He puts his finger in the wound and keeps digging, even with titles that are universally praised.
Sometimes you just need someone who eats cocks instead of sucking them. Not terribly civilized, but someone has to do it.
