Apparantly the name Warmachine is a big one in the realm of people who like to play with toy soldiers miniatures. Which makes the news that on July 10th a Kickstarter will begin for Warmachine: Tactics for pc and Mac quite interesting.

WARMACHINE: Tactics will include a single-player campaign and feature synchronous and asynchronous online multi-player play. The game will launch with two playable factions—Cygnar and Khador. A stretch goal for the Kickstarter campaign, if met, would add Cryx and the Protectorate of Menoth to the game’s launch. WARMACHINE: Tactics will also be expanded with downloadable content.

That they then immediately announce DLC only sours that a little for me. Here, have a trailer for a trailer Kickstarter.

"What?! A lot of Warhammer games in production? We cannot fall behind them!"
My hope is that if by chance some GW fuck will see this and his imaginary friends will whisper into his ears sweet stories about future with actual competition, they will grab their whips and start to demand quality from various developers spawning crappy and mediocre Warhammer shit on constant basis.

their target audience are miniature gamers... the same guys who have been paying a fuckton of money for real world "dlc" since way before horse armor.

Damn, you're right! I won't complain about Horse armor DLC anymore!
Pay2Win was invented by Games Workshop way before the current "Freemium" trend
