Been playing this over the weekend and I like it so far. For those who remember Hannibal, the battle system will look familiar. You can only play as France right now but the simplicity of the system allows for a challenging AI.



They're planning on making it a series and I'd say this has a lot of potential for other settings (cough ACW, cough)

Was gonna roll my eyes at this before I realized it's pretty much impossible to make a fun game of this time playing anyone else.

They are planning on expanding it to another side in the update but I don't think it's feasible. The Event Card system abstractly handles the external issues (War of 1812) that severely limits the entertainment factor. Then again, it could make for good MP
