According to a press release from White Wolf, publisher of the World of Darkness PnP system, Troika's upcoming game set in WoD, Vampire - Bloodlines, will be tied closely to the Time of Judgement storyline, which will be the end of the modern World of Darkness - the coming of Vampire's Gehenna and Werewolf's Apocalypse. White Wolf is going to cease publishing rulebooks and add-ons to the modern WoD, and will now focus on the past of their world, as its future will end - medieval World of Darkness: Dark Ages and World of Darkness: Victorian Age, set in the 19th century.

White Wolf’s licensing partners are also getting involved in this event. Activision® will release Vampire: The Masquerade--Bloodlines, the second Vampire computer game, with a storyline tied directly to the Time of Judgment. "This will add extra excitement for those who are playing the tabletop game or reading the novels," said Chris McDonough, White Wolf’s Director of Computer Projects. "The computer game gains an epic scope from that connection. There are unique insights into the Time of Judgment that can only be uncovered through this game."
Spotted this at RPGDot.

Lead up to Apoc, I'd guess.

So WW actually doing this, huh? I expected them to squeeze another edition or two in first, if they did it at all.

Bet theres much wailing and gnashing of teeth in their marketing department though. Give up the primary line for the less profitable secondaries? Gods weep.
