Well, tried to have a look.
Alas, the new alpha is corrupt every time I download it. Even if I use a download manager it stops at exactly the same point, which has me thinking that it was only a partial upload.

The 0.66 alpha downloads correctly, but even the 0.66->0.77 patch is consistently corrupted.
I'll try again some other day. Or post a query about the status of the files. Or something.

I could try the "ICE-archive" version I guess...(wtf?)

Of interest to CS (or ex-CS) students is that they have implemented an A* ("A-Star") search algorithm to get the best path for creatures and characters.
For the Tales of Trolls and Treasures rpg-project the A*-algorithm was implemented in a very special, tailored way. Because A* is very slow in general, a lot of optimations and improvements were made due to the execution speed.

Having implemented the same algorith myself (in two diff languages), I am aware that it is computationally expensive, so I wonder what they did to 'optimise' it?

Edit:
"ICE Archive" = Interface de Compression Ergonomique archvive
You can get it here: http://www.iceows.com/HomePageUS.html
Unfortunately, the new alpha ICE Archives are also truncated :-(
