Didn't bother reading that, but I'm guessing the author is a retard that doesn't actually know what kespa is, or what the whole deal between them and blizzard is actually about.

I'll summarize it for you nitwits: kespa is the organization that represents korean e-sports sponsors, they host the starcraft proleague and sponsor the starcraft pro-teams. As they're involved so heavily in starcraft 1, it's in their best interests to stifle the growth of SC2, and that's what they've been doing. Blizzard otth would rather see SC2 do well, so they've been trying to shove SC1 out of the spotlight.

Both of those goals are reasonable so it doesn't really make sense to rage at the actions the two groups have taken in pursuing them. This draws me to the conclusion that whoever wrote that article is a caveman with too much time.

Toooo looooong. I hate people who think they are oh so great and amazing and love to taste their own words on paper. And at the same time they are fucking no ones.

I don't like that one, there he's just complaining (though raising valid points). He fails to explain why no one leaves those games altogether.

I sort of thought he did mention it - most people stay to play those because of the social "ties" as well as in vain hope that things would change during the next re-balancing. The points raised are really one of the big issues with Blizzard design philosophy.

Although it's curious to think that Blizzard might be trying to get into "competitive gaming" field - as the other article states, and as I know myself, they've been pretty bad at promoting this said competitive playing. In fact, the recentmost attempt in WoW was basically a "Let's set up a paid server where everyone gets the same gear and is going to run around bashing each others, winners will get a couple of "unique" items!", which was an incredibly daft idea, and a display of cheapness on their part. Seriously, a winner in a competitive series in WoW should get a new rig, at least.

So yeah, if Blizzard is trying to get into the business, they have a lot to learn.
