Ok. had a thought I wanted to share.

Right now MMOs are focused on letting players create their own stories which we KNOW the majority of people either dont have the creativity to do or wont do at all.

What if ...

You created 50-100 heroes...
set variables for faction and race, took into account good heroes and bad heroes..
and then crafted an action-driven storyline around each of those permutations.

Yes I know it would take a lot of writing...but is this the perspective MMO makers should come from?
