Prison Architect has updated to Alpha 19, which focuses on overhauling the financial side of the game. You can now properly sell the goods your prison produces and as a result, you have to pay corporate taxes. Likewise, you can get bailed out by the government if you're in desperate financial measures, acting as a sort of second life.
