The reasons why you suddenly find yourself in possession of the noodle stand are almost more unlikely than those at the beginning of Starfield: "Here, I give you all my possessions because... reasons". A minimum of imagination to create a little plausibility seem bad? It could have just been inherited: it's not a great introduction, or even original, but it's still miles better than this.
