Venetica was quite a charming game, and I enjoyed it a lot despite its flaws. This one looks much worse at first glance, though, art direction-wise.

That shit was idiotic. I don't mind blood spatter in general, since it can happen when you're cleaving people in half, but characters walking around chatting casually while literally caked with blood?


A good example of non-stupid blood spatter on characters would be Witcher 2, where it's rare, mostly accidental, very temporary and I only recall one explicitly scripted occassion.
