Admin is just a forum tech slave...
signed anyway.

Yeah, a nobody, really.

Forum admins are just forum admins. Actually probably even less in the loop than a "community manager" is.

I wont say he is a nobody, he got what he wanted and the petition is going really well.

The reason why there are no demos is simple: having a demo available before release would in the majority of cases reduce the sales.

I don't see why. The idea of having a demo is the opposite, to make people interested in the game.

If you mean that in a "people would see it's shit and wouldn't buy the game" way, the "modders / patches / leprechauns will fix it" mentality takes care of that.

64k signatures in just 6 days ain't that bad - double or better triple that number and there's a tiny chance.
dunno why they forgot to port dark souls to pc right from the start. capcom is much better in milking the cow...

Well, the online petition to support the release of the fan-made sequel to King's Quest, the Silver Lining, did manage to sway Vivendi's decision to order a "cease and desist" on the project, though some of the big wigs in the company were in favor of the project all along, which doubtlessly helped.

Maybe 10+ years ago that was the case, now it's the job of hype department.

Apparently most normal people don't have that mentality.
