Good luck with this release.

Thought the alpha/beta process was excellent in the way you guys took out the best of the feedback to refine the game.

Hope you get the sales you deserve as this is a very, very good game.

Game sounds like it was designed for multiplayer. Not really my type of thing, but I'm going to check out the gameplay trailer anyway.

BTW, what are the system requirements? I don't see them listed anywhere.

I'm normally not interested in multiplayer either because you get so many immature people. With a shareware game, I'm not sure that you'd have to deal with that. How many l33t d00dz play shareware? I'll give the single-player a go, and if I love it, I may actually try MP.

Anyone here been keeping up with the game? If so, what other crpgs does it play like?

To me at least it plays alot like mix between bards tale and might and magic....it feels like a good rpg from the good old days and I love it....

there is a learning curve but you get what you put into it.

lots of creativity in it as well...

Hey Josh! Great stuff. We've tooled around together in MoM a few times (Vanquish). Great stuff...especially when you realize the size of the achievement by one person!

Keep up the good work...and thanks for proving that an MMO can be done in Torque!

I couldn't find any on the site, however, a quick google search led me to RPGDot http://www.rpgdot.com/index.php?hsaction=10053&ID=1182.

For those interested, these are the suggested specs.
R: MoM runs on Windows and OSX. The game supports resolutions of 1024x768 and higher. We provide a number of graphics options to scale the game's system requirements. There are people playing the game on some pretty old gear. I would recommend downloading the demo and trying out different settings. As for a recommended system, a 1.6 ghz machine with 512+ megs of ram and at least a GForce3 should run the game quite well.

I'll give this a shot once I get my new comp together.

I fired up the demo last night for a very brief time just to take a look and I must say that I am very impressed. Enough that I want to give it a more indepth look in the near future when I have a little more free time. Hmmm... Christmas is around the corner. :D

Good job.

I played the SP for about 15 minutes. It wasn't very good. Purdry graphics and the music was alright, I guess. But the combat is total poo, and all the quests are your generic MMO Fed-Exes or monster-killin'. I'm not a fan of MMO, so maybe someone that is might enjoy it.

I sure didn't.

That comparison's going to make me give it a try. I felt the new The Bard's Tale wasn't Bard's Tale enough and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic isn't even an RPG.

Just in case Ubisoft has their minions surf the web for fan comments: I'll by HOMM V, but not Dark Messiah! Not till it drops to ten dollars in a bargain bin, or better yet, I'll get it used at EBGames so you don't get my money for doing just a "Half Life Too" instead of a genuine Might and Magic 10!

Somebody close the valve feeding mainstream marketing into Ubisoft's game design department. RPG fans want Might and Magic 10.

I'll check out the Mirth trailer tonight and get the game after the holidays if it's as good as Bard's Tale meets Might and Magic.
