Diablo 2 was battling identical enemies the whole time, moreso than Sacred it seems like. The whole of act 4 consisted of like 4 types of creatures. The same was true for every act. In fact, Diablo 2 had very few types of creatures. But I can beat diablo 2 in one sitting, whereas it seems like it'll take me weeks to explore the whole of sacred. And there really is lots of types of creatures if you explore out more. Different areas have different creatures.
