Even 'Citadel of Stars' would be more evocative.

I still think that one of the reasons Diablo did so well was the name. It was perfect, even though it was just spanish for devil.
a) it rolled off the tongue well. Di-a-blo...
b) little bit exotic... for most people- foreign has an 'ooh' factor (not sure how people in mexico and spain reacted though.)
c) but still a little familiar. Lots of people have exposure to spanish, so it isn't totally alien.
