Aside from Hearts of Iron 2, it's been a long time since I've played a Paradox game, and while EU3 looks good, I'd still like to see what everybody's feedback is on it. I know it's been released in North America since the 23rd.

I'm playing it for two days now. Great game! Can't stop thinking how to expand my Great Polish Kingdom...
Can't compare to other Paradox games, cos i've played only UE 1 couple years ago. IMO great game.

I was thinking about Crusader Kings or EU3. I saw an AAR for Crusader Kings and I liked the look of it, it has dynasty elements and seems to have expanded upon the vassal system of EU.

I got it.

I remember instaliing EU1 and uninstalling an hour later. BUt this time reviews say it is more acessible.

So far I've watched/played the tutorials, and it's looking good. Gonna try a small scenario. Maybe change a country's religion or something.

It is more of a game than the earlier EU, as it is more dynamic and simply more stable.

Fez, Crusader kings is the closest to a "roleplaying" game you will see from paradox, as you play a dynasty and not a country.
