The developer diary really doesn't delve into the details of gameplay aspects but does tell us that Legacy of Rome will be $5.99 and that this time without the DLC the AI also does not get the new features to use. What does seem interesting is that the faction system is going to be implemented wether you've got the DLC or not. Concerning everything is about relationships in the game this could really be a big change.

Do hope this means they'll expand on plots and ambitions as well. They really spice up the game and there should be way more. They work great in mods such as CKIIplus that have an expanded roster.

I'm still worried about the diverging checksums. This could really aggravate the patching process. I would have preferred them just locking the Orthodox religions out.
