Dunno if anyone's interested. It's an indie TB gladiator game - control a team of gladiators in a league of eight divisions, buying weapons spells etc for them as you go. Tried it for about 1/2 hour, and seemed ok, but a bit simplistic.

So I bought this about a week ago now, and I'm having a lot of fun playing it. It's basically a gladiator management sim, where you bid for gladiators from 20 fantasy races, outfit them with equipment and spells, train them and then send them into battle. The battle part is TB strategy, although very simplistic - can only aim at the body and head, not sure if LOS is implemented (v. bad manual.)

The whole package is quite simple, but as a result is also addictive and fun - you can easily breeze through a season in a reasonably long playing session, but given that there are eight divisions and two cups, there's longevity there as well. BoN is fun because it's not that complicated, but has a reasonable amount of depth: when I started out, my archer was a puny thing, who was barely worth his wages, whereas my Minotaur smashed all before him, generally in one hit; now however, the archer is generally killing everyone before the Minotaur can get anywhere near them. Additionally, there are three different game modes, which determine how much money you have, and thus how many units you'll have on your team.

I'm a big fan of fantasy sports and fantasy management, so this is right up my street, but I'd recommend having a go on the demo even if you're not.

It looks fairly interesting so I just downloaded the demo. However, $24.99 seems a little steep for this, especially since I just bought Age of Wonders for $3.99.

You might want to list this in the stickied indie RPG thread.
