Well it was grindy but no more than HOMM3 which is one of the most overrated games ever. Not that that makes it a bad game but at least I managed to finish KB and AP when I haven't completed more than a few campaign missions of HOMM3 before giving up until a 'later' that never seems to come.

Skirmishes are more fun then campaign in HoMM games.

How have the King's Bounty games been received in Russia and Eastern Europe in general? Are they popular? Do they sell well? Are they considered "proper" turn-based games or "casual" games by the gaming community? Are they marketed as the former or the latter?
