So it appears the first game wil be a startegy game. The rpg will probably be the second game (assuming the developer doesn't go under. Strategy games don't sell all that well after all)

The first Dune was an awesome game. The Witcher was great. Metro 2033 was interesting as well. Can't recall any other novel based games at the moment but they don't seem to suffer from the same curse as movie tie-ins.
