What do we want to see in ME3? asks gameinformer.

We’d love to see an expansion of exploration elements in Mass Effect 3, capitalizing on the anomalies that showed up in Mass Effect 2. These occasional short missions were a delightful side trek from the main storyline. We’d enjoy seeing more of them, with more variety in what players can do on each planet. Neither the Mako concept or the mining feature needs to be totally removed; it’s the repetition of those features – and the frequency of totally empty or uninteresting planets – that hurts the experience. Combine the previous planetary exploration elements, add a few more varieties, and players will adore this element of gameplay.

Combat in the Mass Effect franchise is fun, but can be simplistic. In Mass Effect 2, Shepard has a handful of weapons and ammo types to use in conjunction with limited control over AI companions. More meaningful strategic options would make the combat encounters more intense and satisfying, instead of just letting him or her bust into every room with guns blazing.

Well they played a lot of GoW between ME and ME2, hopefully they'll play a lot of Drake's Fortune 2 and ME3 will at least have interesting set pieces and better combat.

1. More talents and skills. FFS FFS FFS FFS

2. The fuckin' mako. Just improve it. FFS And, get rid of the the always fuckin' bumpy worlds. One of the coolest parts of ME1 is driving the mako all over the skyway plus running over the enemy. FFS FFS

3. All joinable npcs in ME1 + ME2 should ahve the potential to be in your squad.

4. Worlds where it's just not one hub but multiple ones.

5. A real inventory.

6. More than hiden go seek combat.

7. Powers that are fuckin' useful.

8. The fuckin' return of omni and REAL medi gel. Not this new ME2 shit.

9. The ability to have skills,a nd/or omngigel to bypass fuckin' puzzles (btw, I don't mind the puzzles but options are fuckin' good).

10. mAKE IT EVEN MORE FUCKIN' EPIC!

fUCKKKKKKKKKK YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd rather say what I don't want to see. I don't want to see ME in RPG news of the Fair Codexia.

I prefer hacking to be done more during combat. Let's say your char / you have Tali as tech specialist. You can command her to hack the door to open it while you hold off the incoming waves of enemies. Of course, if you don't have a tech specialist it'll be slower. Think something like R2D2 in Endor.

Or having Soldiers plant mines. I don't think there's even a way to command your squad to focus on targets.

I would like a game that is more then 30 mins of story, less then 15 hours of repetitive combat/minigames. After ME2 I have absolutely zero faith in Bioware's ability to make either of those, they need to be minimized as much as possible in favor of that half decent story and setting.

Heh what is strange about the sequel is that there seem to be more emphasis on the crew's background story than the main threat. It's roughly 75% crew member and 25% main threat story distribution

I'm playing (if you can say that about a game that has very little gameplay in it) right now, and the single question that keeps popping into my head is, "Is that it?"

It's a corridor shooter without the corridor. Half the door hacks are pointless, because you must open the door for the game to continue --- so why indulge in the pointless fantasy that the player will not open them?

Lengthy cut-scenes that drop you right into combat without prep-time are annoying as hell. And hyper-inflated end bosses --- as a concept generally, not just in ME2 --- suck balls. Never liked it. Too arcade-like.

As I've noted before, the mineral scanning mini-game is an excercise in tedium. Driving around in the Mako was more fun than this.

1. Non-combat alternatives to quests

2. No mini games

3. More than two companions for a mission

4. Fighting from Normandy itself. They said it was one of the characters, right? Make ship upgrades worthwhile.

More non-combat quests like Samara's and Thane's. Okay, maybe not Thane's because running along a balcony while pressing space bar every now and again sucked, but yeah. Samara's quest was heads and shoulders above the rest of the game. Actually relies on the player having half a clue to succeed. (Not that it's possible for anyone with two brain cells to fail, but then again...)

Yeah, more variation in quests would be good. As would a deeper RPG system and a better story. And no tedious minigames, code hacking is fine imo, but the memory thing sucks.

How do you imagine playing two minigames at the same time?

It would be nice if your class and skills meant something outside of combat. Right now it has absolutely no impact on the world. There's only like two situations in the first game where you get a special dialogue line if you have biotic implants, zero in the second one.

I want to see nothing. I don't care about games I don't intend to play. Also, I want to see less quantity and more quality of news for a change.

Less niggers. If another nigger will pop up in my squad I demand option to kill it or scare it away like in Dragon Rage.

Or make niggers different race that tries to rape all life in the galaxy.

 THIS IS EPIC! Where do you find all this stuff?

Bioware social site for ME2. It's incredibly busy there actually, ME2 certainly has attracted a lot of attention.

It's kinda scarey over there, actually. Too many people rabidly proclaiming that they're on their 5th or 6th playthru, with lot's of the "Which is better and why?" going on.

Nothing like the prestigious Kodex.
