Bioware's Zeschuk is more and more turning out to be an eager talker. Here's the first part of an interview CVG conducted with him. Not much interesting apart from a possible demo being mentioned.

Zeschuk: We've not really talked about a demo. There's a few different ways we could do it. The way the game's set up actually makes it hard for a demo because there are six origin stories and we don't know whether to just pick one or a couple.

And then the really cool thing with the game is seeing what happens when you pick an origin story later in the game - like the way that characters get to know you.

It's not likely that we'll have a demo ready for release, but very shortly after we'll probably figure out some parameters where we chop the game into pieces and make them available for people to experience.

More interesting and much more time-consuming is this video interview the German GamersGlobal has scored. Falls du Deutsch sprichst, check out the German transcript. They talk about the difference between the PC and the console version, DLC, combat...and The Old Republic.

Both interviewers were ignorant as to his doctoral degree, so this time you can talk about the game.

The "new shit" is so "new", and so "epic", and so "dark, gritty, and mature" that it doesn't need a demo!

It's based on the fact that this is a sophisticated mature experience.

What's wrong with you people? Dragon Age is a SOPHISTICATED and MATURE experience. You guys simply aren't sophisticated enough to appreciate it.

I suppose my simplistic, juvenile mind cannot comprehend this 'sophisticated mature experience' the good doctor is talking about. Maybe I will just wait until they are able to make a game that is enabled with both SOPHISTICATED and MATURE experiences, instead of an twisted amalgamation of both virtues.

It's weird seeing this constant barrage of maturity from BioWare. I don't remember CDP hyping maturity at all, and TW had more maturity in 5 minutes of content than every BioWare game put together.

So... about that. Maybe it's because I'm not a red-blooded male, but does anyone find this titillating? Even a little bit?

I'm totally making an NWN2 module that features a butch dyke who can give it to the male protagonist with a Steely Dan, bareback. You need to give her a book first, though.

this underwear looks so out of place in the medieval context.
