CD Projekt RED has just announced that the release of the D'jinni Adventure Editor, Patch 1.3 and the first premium module, "The Price of Neutrality" for The Witcher, announced for today, has been moved to the last week of March (most likely March 26). The move is caused by some legal issues with the EULA concerning publication of game mods.

So the modules were never meant to be released at the same time? Any word on the second module?

The second module will be released as part of the Enhanced Edition in May.

Don't get your hopes to high- the editor won't be anything like NWN.

Them crazy devs built every location straight in 3dstudioMAX and imported it into the editor.

So you'll be able to do new locations IF you're proficient with 3dsmax, maybe Maya will work too- there are no tilesets.

Ouch. Dealbreaker imo.

Do you (the ones that actually played the game) think the editor will see any use?

Well, people not proficient with MAX will still be able to create new adventures using existing locations.

Hard to say...

For me, its gotta be better than unpacking/pulling apart all the .2da and texture files manually just to do some basic stuff, like I'm doing now.
