Edit: I will leave the original post up in shame. I didn't check the DLC section of the game. It has been pointed out that there is furry content (which actually means they are animal fuckers). It's a sad day when a game about mining in space has someones sexual fetish in it. I guess going forward this is to be expected.

This looks kind of interesting. It's priced nicely too. Might be a bit before I get around to it. If you try it out, lets hear about it.

A physics-based mining sim, set in the thickest debris field in Sol. Every action has a reaction, lasers are invisible without a medium, and your thrust is a potent weapon. Find trade, adapt your equipment to your playstyle, hire a crew to help. Unravel the mysteries of the rings, or just get rich

I tried the demo a few years back and it plays how you would expect, slow gameplay punctuated by moments of excitement and terror often brought about by your own poor piloting and decision making. I did not get into it enough to make a strong judgement but it all seems competently put together. I've thought about having another go at some point but never got around to it.

Yeah, it looks cool but the dev is kind of a faggot, probably the Mega variety. I tuned out when I saw the furry DLC and some other shit, maybe BLM or COVID or Ukraine. Fucking twitter reddit shit.

Holy shit. I can't escape this stuff. Refunded. Everyone knows what furries actually do (fuck animals). I won't support this shit. I can't believe I have to check the DLC of games like this one too. Anyways, thanks for the info.

Topic title made me chuckle, but it is every codexer's duty to warn us of the Furry Threat in our gaming whenever possible. Oddly enough, I was just looking at this game on Steam earlier today, knowing nothing about it, but from the name I thought at first it was a sequel to Titan Outpost or something which is why I checked it out. Glad to see how wrong I was.

I'm pretty sure there is a thread already... The fury stuff was an april fools joke but apparently so many people wanted it as DLC that the dev decided to sell it. Really good game though.

Not sure there actually was a dedicated thread for it, I think most of the posting about Delta V was just in the Indie Space Sims thread. Searching thread titles for ΔV or Saturn and posts for the steam appid number doesn't yield a dedicated thread.

Huh, I must have misremembered it.

I don't think I can link to pirated content on this site, but if you look you can find the torrent quite easily. It is a good game, too bad about this shit.

You don't even have to torrent, the demo is free and should be the same as the full game.

Yeah, I just pulled this link when I saw your edit.

Removed all demo restrictions, making the demo essentially a full game. There are more important things than games you should be spending your money on now.

I gotta say it's a relief to see people on the internet who still think furries are absolutely vile, instead of defending them like they're a protected class under the Civil Rights Act or some shit.

They somehow managed to come off as less deranged over time because everything else got worse.

The game itself is good and I've not found anything overtly woke in it.

Oddly enough, I didn't hate furries years ago when I first learned what these unfortunate creatures were. I had a live and let live attitude back then. Then I read an old Usenet account from a well-known female SF author and her husband about what happened when the furries took over a hotel during an SF convention in the 90s, I think. It was the single most vile thing I had ever read up until then outside of stories of murder, Samuel R. Delany's published pornography and the sexual exploitation of children. It was only later I learned of the stories of furries involved in murder and the sexual exploitation of children. To his credit, and to the best of my knowledge, Samuel R. Delany never wrote a story about a furry, but if you need a natural and organic ipecac to induce vomiting, I can recommend his published pornography.
