Eventually you can sit down and have a cup of tea and just enjoy it without a single thought, unless you want to think.

Well duh, last thing I want is sob storying. But hey, I freak out. After so many years here, not even the first time haha.

Anyways the brief problem that I reason fine but I do not believe my reasoning.

Also, part of me does not like me so part of me does not want to be blessed.

33 now, and to think I was way worse.

I'm not religious or trying to convert you buddy. I'm just saying don't worry. When you are old and dying do you think you would wish you worried more? Or do you think you would have wished you were 33 again and had another chance to live life to the full.

Take your chance, enjoy your life and don't worry.

That being said, it's a free world. If I want to be a dick and use the Codex as whatever I want, the only person who can really make me feel bad is me. Not only because I am my biggest critic, but that I actually believe my critique of self more than I believe others.

I know it's easy saying that if you are not in a funk, but if you are in a funk you have to take simple steps to get life back on track to where you get back to enjoying life the smell of roses and peoples company.

The first thing is to enjoy a quiet place in your mind or in life and build something within or without that is simple yet meanigfull like sweeping a driveway and just focusing and enjoying it for what it is. Or making a drink of tea.

Oh, I'm in constant funk. I'm more dysthmic (24/7 instead of episodes, but more functionable). But, as it seems, I do have major depressive episodes also.

So I'm like Mark Ruffalo's Hulk. Eh?

In todays society people have too much going on, so the act of drinking a tea or beer has to be accompanied by something else instead of just enjoying the drink. You need to get to the point when you can just enjoy something without any other thoughts and then the world will open up to you with all it's beauty.

People sweep there driveways and think it is a chore so it becomes one to do quickly. If they swept the drive and looked and took time to contemplate on the smaller world on their broom without any thoughts of life worries, phones or the TV or the internet, sweeping a drive would be a pleasure.

Anyway I hope you find peace of mind whatever way you want to go, but I just wanted to say to you that you do have friends here, many people are willing to stand with you and by you (online at least) here if you ever have problems.

sorry Mangoose I missed your reply when I was typing.

Is there any time you enjoyed something?

Were you always depressed?

Is there anything you remember you had joy doing, watching?
Mangoose
Mangoose
not really

I'm not going to sugar coat this, the world right now is a shit place ruled by evil people.

But your life is important and you only have one chance to take the joy you can anywhere and everywhere you can find it.

Look I'm here trying to talk to you when I have work in the morning and could be chilling out watching a film. Life isn't that bad and people are mostly good benith the surface of politics and religion.

I know myself that I have been around the world and strangers have treated me with great kindness and invited me into their homes.

They did not care about my religion or politics they were just people who are kind and decent and if you are kind and decent and friendly you will have a great chance of making great friends.

I don't go along with meds, but that's me.
I would reccommend a holiday.
Take a short break for a couple of days to start where you reject any negative thoughts in your mind and take outgoing measures.
If you do this you will enjoy yourself and realize the negative thoughts you have are not a saftey net but a cage.

You don't have to travel to take the holiday, just give yourself a break for a few days and see what bad shit goes down when your negative control freak side is off duty.
