Its great, ins't it? Its like the Long War of X-COM. I used to play it on my cellphone when I was computer-less. Its a bit buggy but damn nigga, its great.

I suggest downloading The X-COM Files after you finish it.

One thing I like is how you learn to love and appreciate conventional weapons. The old conventionals aren't made obsolete by the new ones, but fill new niches. Alloy Ammo does make them far better. Gotta love fighting Chrysalids with guns.

The X-COM Files is based off FMP, but one of the constants of FMP is not to alter vanilla weapons and enemies. X-COM Files is even more of a total conversion, and its game is expanded backwards by showing the origins of X-COM, starting from Mulder & Scully-style teams, and fighting all sorts of infiltrators and monsters.

You can, if you're lucky, even nab an UFO from very early on, but I was told its hard as hell.

I'm running out of stuff to research. Why can't I research all those alien weapons that I have?

Fighting cyberdisks with guns (even with alloy bullets) is rough.

Also, shotguns are boss and can hit pretty far.
