  1. Interview Witcher 2 'breakthrough RPG like Fallout 3'

It varies. Some are at Lionhead, some founded their own indie companies, I'm at Starbreeze, some went to People Can Fly, etc.
  2. Interview Witcher 2 'breakthrough RPG like Fallout 3'

Yes, AFAIK they still are there.
  3. Interview Witcher 2 'breakthrough RPG like Fallout 3'

OK, let's clear this up a little bit. Michal was an important member of TW1 team, but it's not like he designed the whole game by himself. He was more responsible for laying basic outlines, he didn't participate in implementation and most of the low-level stuff/story/mechanics has been...
  4. Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Video leaked

Nah, I left like 6 months ago (..and no, it was not me who leaked it :) I left on good terms, so no reasons for that).
  5. Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Video leaked

One thing you don't have to worry about are voices, they're placeholders surely, I recognized some of developers there...
  6. Company News More Witcher Gossip - Everyone blames everyone else

I'm not talking about specific feature of C&C, which still is present in the game (as promised, as you put it), it has not been removed. I'm talking only about this particular scene. Game development is constant iteration, appearently after some early tests it's been decided to change the...
  7. Company News More Witcher Gossip - Everyone blames everyone else

You *do* know this is an old video and this part has been later removed from the game, right?
  8. The Console Witcher is Dead, Long Live Witcher 2

They may be, if they're straight ports, which wasn't the case. Also, game wasn't really very "console" friendly, *lots* of content. [BTW, you can change my avatar already, I left CDPR some time ago]
  9. Preview GameTrailers Puts Up Exclusive Dragon Age Footage

Not sure if using two different engines was good idea. Dialogues in Mass Effect look much better, especially lipsync/mimicry. OTOH combat looks interesting (but enemies could use some more diversity).
  10. New AP Gameplay Footage

It varies from book to book. He doesn't really have one consistent style of writing, his every book is something different from what he's written before. I'd say start with Diamond Age, best Stephenson's book IMO and most "conventional".
  11. Company News Go work at Obsidian on the Aliens RPG

    http://kotaku.com/5152193/rumor-aliens- ... ayoffs-hit - just a rumour...
  12. D. Gaider - from writing games to writing novels

I just hope that story in game won't be exactly same as in the novel. After all, it was supposed to be something original and different from typical high fantasy stuff... And here we have: - young orphan hero with great legacy, - powerful villain, - beautiful maiden At least he simply have...

"There are two kinds of people in this world... those with loaded guns and those who dig... you dig."
  14. Game News The Witcher sold more than one million copies

Sorry to rain on your parade, but it was the plan with the first title. It was basically supposed to promote the IP mainly and pay for itself. We'll sell some more, so it's reached already. Now time for the second step.
  15. Game News The Witcher sold more than one million copies

At least million of them did, appearently :). Anyway, arguing about coverage/hype is pointless.* If* we didnt have enough marketing - it's our/publisher's fault, shouldnt be an excuse. These days marketing is just as important as the quality of game itself, whether we like it or not. Million...
