Incline Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children - isometric tactical Korean SRPG

How many more characters am I getting? I just got Giselle and have 7 dudes. This game rules, btw. I have no idea what the story is because I skip those scenes and the translation is brutal, but damn it's a good game all the same.

    Sniper Build [with new feats]

I tend to sequence break and go to Junkyard pretty early to hopefully try and get a frame + barrel. Also, basement level of the GMS compound, one room south of the 3rd level - there's a corpse there that sometimes has a sniper rifle/AR (of course, only when I'm a melee character - when I go in...

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Dominating just shuts off a ton of builds from being viable. Which is fine, but definitely shouldn't be a first playthrough. Hard I think is okay if you're ... smart? familiar? Most common sense builds are still viable, but if you make a mistake you may fuck yourself bigtime.

It's not even that it's easy. I think a psi-monk build is easy but I have fun with it. Same with sniper/trapper. I can't explain it except in that when my sniper build comes together, I feel like *I built that* and I have earned the roflstompedness, or if the fisting build starts coming together...

Yeah I think Psi is just fucking ez mode. Probably why I also hate AR tin can builds.

Empire of Sin - Brenda and John Romero's turn-based Mafia strategy

I don't really give two shits about the theme in general, but I like the *possibilities* it thematically brings into the genre. It's really easy to imagine a diverse set of units plus a lot of management options, plus emergent gameplay - without too much overhead in explaining why X is...

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Ugh - why do I find psi builds boring? I just have so much more fun with other builds (maybe augmented by Psi at most but not focused on it). Think I'm scrapping this build. I just don't enjoy being a cave wizard. One thing I do love though (and one of the benefits of playing all of these...

Especially because it's not like spears are ZOMG OP. A spear user is insanely exposed to ranged/psi.

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

I say that, and now I'm at the Rathound King, and I'm about to restart a psi character because I think I've created 500 characters in this fucking game.

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

It's based on impact speeds I think, so high will stop more high speed weapons, but be weaker against stuff like melee/crossbows, while low is stronger against those but doesn't block as much high speed weapons (sniper rifles/energy weapons). It kind of depends on what your build is. My...

Decent riot armor blocks *most* gun stuff outside of ARs/Sniper rifles. Energy shields can handle the rest of it. Non-mechanical damage is an issue admittedly.

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

So spear reminds me a lot of unarmed, in that there are a shitload of feats that interact with each other (in a great way).

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

Okay - restarted with a spear build. After I saved Newton I went to junktown and got riot gear recipe and made riot gear with shield + iron grip. This is fucking ridiculous. You block most attacks. It fucking rules.

    Underrail: The Incline Awakens

So shotguns seem pretty good as a backup weapon for a sniper/trapper, although there isn't much feat synergy outside of like gun nut and opportunist. Has anyone tried swords/parry with riot armor + shield? Wonder if that might be more effective/efficient than trying to dodge tank.

Is mutated dog better than siphoner or something? Everyone always recommends using dog to deal with acid, but I always kill some siphoners and was wondering if I was missing something.
