    1eyedking What's wrong with min-maxing?

Exactly. Pillars of Eternity is what happens when people try to "fix" the min max problem. You don't fix anything, you just get muscle wizards and a whole bunch of useless spells/abilities.

Kobold meme party finished the game where others failed so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

RPGs are games, games are made to win. If you aren't winning then you're losing.

NOOO! You can't be a strong hero in a fantasy setting! You must be a limp-wristed peasant who wastes all his money on ale! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

    Project Quarm sucks

Lack of instancing meant 60 people in Unrest with waitlists days long and special camps had waitlists months long. All raid targets were reserved and under a GM-enforced rotation. I didn't have an interest in reliving that aspect of EQ.

ELEX ELEX II - Jax is back

No, sorry. I've played every PB game up to ELEX. I wanted ELEX, but better. I got ELEX, but much worse.

    The Quake Games Suck

Quake games don't suck. You suck.

Dungeon Keeper 1 - Always this hard?

Samurai yes, every time, as many as I can get. Fairies? Way too fragile, even trying to torture them requires a constant eye on the torture chamber to make sure they don't drop, okay spell selection, but not worth the trouble. I actually like giants if I'm in a long haul map and I know I'll be...

Dungeon Keeper 1 - Always this hard?

As I recall Bile Demons are the only ones who can't act right away in DK 1, they have a short thud before they can act. Or I could be misremembering.

Dungeon Keeper 1 - Always this hard?

Which you should be. Any long haul map a vampire is going to out perform a mistress if for no other reason than being able to resurrect, they also research. Dragons are durable, but yes, they suck aside from handling lava and doing research. Skeletons are better than you think, they're cheap...

KickStarter Songs of Syx - City Builder/Grand Strategy game with Emphasis on Scale

Been keeping an eye on this one and the graphics look fine to me, ergonomically terrific.

Atlus Shin Megami Tensei V - It's been hurting my OCD.

SMT IV was weak and crappy. Wimpy dungeon design, lame by-the-numbers plot, ugly demon art, and way too easy. The last good one was either Nocturne or Strange Journey, but if you can't stomach SMT 1 and 2 then you ain't no Megaten fan.
