Game News The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep Released

So, decided to give it another go yesterday. Had like 40 minutes to play something. Five minutes load time to load the save in the Adventurers Guild. Five minutes load time to exit. Then went on to walk towards the first quest, dutifully following the marker. Noticed strange stuttering, then...

Game News The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep Released

Played it for about two hours yesterday. Performance is horrible, and I can't really fathom why. Some stuff rubbed me the wrong way though; *No stat-bonus at level up? *Weapons\armours are stat-boosters only. No differences between them except +2 Strength or whatever. Wierd stuff such as a...

Interview David Gaider Interview Part II

The model is obviously newly made, and even if it's an "old rig" they can remove the hand and still reuse the rig. Hell it could have looked like an AIDS monkey with leprosy and still used the same rig. If they wanted it to, that is.

They do? How did you figure that out?

The what games are you currently playing thread.

I'm currently only playing Puzzle Quest for the PSP. Surprisingly good game really, despite the Mangaesque visuals. Why an Australian company would stoop so low as to use those kind of visuals baffles me, but anyway. For those of you who do not know what it's about it's basically Warlords but...

Damn right i'm right! Well, it's far fetched, but in the second Legend of Kyrandia there was this awful puzzle where you were supposed to press fireflies in the correct order, so it could be the girl from that... But nah. Never heard of Zarathustra, what kind of game was that?

Has Twinsen from Little Big Adventure been mentioned? Or Malcolm from Legend of Kyrandia? The robot eating Pac-Man is from Armed and Dangerous. Who is the woman trying to catch those multi-coloured fireflies?

Ah, Lord British, of course! Thanks! The tiny knight on a horse must be from the Heroes of Might and Magic games. His way is barred by shit rather than glowy bling-bling, hehe. The guys swinging in the cage, bottom left, are the two characters from Another World.

Isn't the bimbo on the pole Lulu or Lula or whatever? The nuts and bolts guy can't be STALKER if this is from 2005, right? So, who is the guy with the flaming pants?! And why are there three avatars with a firehose? Come on!

I like the absolutely spot on prince from Prince of Persia. That's EXACTLY how i remember that bastard. Who'se the guy with his pants on fire? And why is there three avatars chasing him with a fire hose?

Is that detective with the magnifying glass, by the wanted poster, the guy from Discworld Noir?
