Boyarsky seems to prefer first or third person perspective for environmental exploration. Sounds like it may have considerable funding (possibly AAA?) from a publisher meaning it's probably an action rpg. So... first or third person action rpg in a setting with "a lot of Fallout and Arcanum...

Shadowrun Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

Yeah, now that I think about it she does force enemies out of cover which can be useful. I feel like her armor shred and her chance to cause bleeding make her melee attacks more useful earlier in combat. But yes, despite my concern about here being out of cover a lot I can't recall her dying...

Shadowrun Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut

Just started playing this again. Gave up after the first couple of missions on my previous attempt. The lack of responsiveness of the UI really irks me. Sometimes I click on an interaction icon and nothing happens, but I can't tell because there's no immediate feedback when you do successfully...

    Elite: Dangerous

I think we're in complete agreement. Your diagram is exactly what I've been describing. When the engines shut off the acceleration vector responsible more maintaining the ship's circular motion becomes zero and all that's left is the velocity. However where I'm saying "move towards the landing...

    Elite: Dangerous

Yeah, I think we're saying the same thing. But the phrase "everything else starts to spin and move because you're not stationary anymore" is very confusing. Stationary relative to what? Anyway, If you read my post you'll see that I didn't mention gravity, because it's effects aren't evident in...

    Elite: Dangerous

The engines are applying a force directly towards the center axle of the space station cylinder to keep the ship stationary relative to the landing pad. When the engines cut off the ship will maintain it's current velocity which is tangential to the outer cylinder of the space station. So yeah...

Granted this is a 3DS game. hopefully some Japanese developers start to see the PC as a viable platform for these games.

Endless Legend, fantasyland trying to fix Endless Space's flaws

About ten hours into my first campaign but I didn't pay enough attention to the approval mechanic. Most of my larger cities are in rebellion because of expansion penalties. Do you guys rely on boosters to keep your approval up?
