Codex Review RPG Codex Review: Cyberpunk 2077

So in 2021, if you want to play a good cyberpunk action RPG with cyberware enhancements, hacking and realtime combat, Dex from 2015 is still the game of choice...

Is Fallout Tactics "Enclave mod" worth it?

Today I released my third campaign, FT: Crusade. And guess what? TB worked for me in every map (as in it didn't crash). So get ready to kick ass and drink some milk.

Indie Call of Saregnar - a Betrayal at Krondor-inspired RPG

Easy maybe, but you can focus your defense here, it's a choke point. The moat itself will make it hard to use ladders and such stuff. Even the slope alone, in case the wall is taken down, is a pain in the ass when you have to run up and someone is poking you with a spear from above.

Indie Call of Saregnar - a Betrayal at Krondor-inspired RPG

When you can't add foliage or other scenery objects, work with the terrain texture (and height, if posible).

Is Fallout Tactics "Enclave mod" worth it?

The first campaign never received an official translation. If you played it in English, then it was google translator at work, in which case it's surprising you enjoyed it (also it was quite buggy). BTW: In case you're from Poland, there's a guy on NMA who currently translates it to Polish. The...

Is Fallout Tactics "Enclave mod" worth it?

It saddens me you NMA forums-lurking guys didn't notice my Children of the Apocalypse 2 mod that came out in late 2015 :(. Anyway, I am currently finishing my new campaign, hopefully releasing it this year before christmas.

    Vapourware Codexian Game Development Thread

I doubt it has any value, really. All GFX and SFX is taken from somewhere else and the programming isn't anything stellar. I can't see anyone building on this. A teaching example, maybe, to learn from my mistakes ("see kids, this is where your bad habits will lead you"). But if I wanted money...

    Vapourware Codexian Game Development Thread

For 2 years I didn't touch this attempt at a game and even before it went slower and slower. I don't have the drive and passion I used to have before I started programming every day for money. I decided to completely abandon it. I made a last build and uploaded it in case there's someone who'd...

Looking forward to 2030-2040 when the BG2 remake in BG3 engine comes out and I finally get to see Viconia's tits.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition - Obsidian's first-person sci-fi RPG set in a corporate space colony

To describe the game, you can actually use a slogan from the game itself: It's not the best choice - It's Spacer's* Choice! Or another: You've tried the best, now try the rest. * Insert your favourite word (like casual, SJW, normie, ...)

Vapourware Zodiac Legion - X-COM and dungeons

After years of theoretical game development (well I do have a few proof of concept projects) I realised I don't like to divide magic into four elemental school where each element has to be as strong as the other because of balance. Rather I prefer to put elemental magic into one school and add...

Vapourware Zodiac Legion - X-COM and dungeons

It's usually ice that destroys stone buildings IRL. If you change your mind: In underground dungeons, let the player do it - there would be several outer walls he'd have to break through with a chance of cave in. In castles, put objective in the middle. Or add other unbreakable blockers like holes.

    Vapourware Codexian Game Development Thread

Here goes another surrealist idea. A game where you play as a town. And do what? Idk, kill your inhabitants? Destroy roads so cars crash into each other?

Vapourware Zodiac Legion - X-COM and dungeons

For this exact reason I think team-colored HPs are good. But if you make the HPs gold and mana blue for everybody and use different icons for teams, it will still look good while keeping it consistent and ready for color blind people without additional work - just 1 new icon for player (enemies...
