Game News Solasta: Crown of the Magister Lost Valley DLC Released

Writing is banal and forgettable. But the real strength is combat which was super fun for me.

Little details in RPGs that annoy you

Roll-dodge in action RPGs It's unrealistic, it's repetitive and no fun at all Fall damage when done bland as is. One bad step and you are dead - is nothing but bad design. If you do any health loss/death mechanics - make it interesting to the player.

Codex Review RPG Codex Review: Wasteland 3

I had real fun in co-op with it. Well, outside of bugs, that was much frequent in co-op. I don't think co-op really hurt the game. But it will surely enrich it if you can find a partner

Community RPG Codex 2021 GOTY - VOTE NOW!

Best for me was Solasta and Wildermyth. Trudograd, Black Book and Encased was fine too. I guess it's already something - to get 5 fine turnbased western rpgs in a year.

If you like Elex and Gothic is too old for you - try Risens First one is better one, but if you are into pirate theme you may like others too.

I really liked Solasta. But I like BG3 more, cause I can play coop.

    Game News ELEX II announced

It's still best open world for me. Will certainly buy it. Game could use more funds on graphics, animations, combat and sounds. But that is all just gimmicks. It's great in it's core.

Todd is satan. Sven is our true savoir. Or maybe MCA will get sober one day.

Dragon Age How to Enjoy Dragon Age: Origins

Maybe DA:O is better than sequels. But it was still banal-shit-boring when I played it. I finished it once. Tried some other races only to realise it changes nothing. Couldn't even finish Awakening DLC, so bioware-boring it was.
